mom fell today

And i conclude she's the most adorable woman ever.

damn cute la! The way she laughed till her whole face was scrunched up at the incident, the way she said 'luckily no one saw, oh but then one man asked 'are you okay?', the way she say 'i'm okay la, but i just realised i got a big bruise.'

Then dad says mom fell down all the time when they were dating. Down the stairs la. Into the drain la. And worse still, she dragged him down. Kaos just imagining the image of that is so goddamn funnnnny!

5 minutes away

Talking to John and Justin makes me realise how much I miss my childhood play spot. The place I used to spend every holiday, every weekend, every time I want to have some good fun.

And at the same time, I realise how much I've miss out on this place. I've moved on to more 'important' things. But the boys still hang out at the place. The place that has become an inseparable part of their lives. But I think they have moved on too. They are different. But it still gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Some things never change". It gives me goosebumps of nostalgia, how some mannerisms, some words, some actions are eerily the same.

It's nice.

And when they say that they are there for each other - It's just a 5 minutes walk away, I laughed at how gay it sounds. But deep down, I am envious of such a friendship.

At the end of the day, my long time buddy said, "I'm also just 5 minutes away if you give me a call."

He probably has no idea how grateful and blessed I felt.
